Bread & Chocolate owner, Nadine Bechtel, has been making food delicious and beautiful for over 15 years. She often reminds staff, "You eat with your eyes first!" Her fruit trays have such an elegant touch, people have been known to say, "I haven't seen anything like that since I was on a cruise."
Her first location was downtown Goshen in one of the historic buildings on Main Street where the café was a great place for a trendy lunch. Catering, evening meetings and parties were also part of doing business from that building.
For over 2 years at The Retreat on Professional Drive, Bread & Chocolate was able to host larger receptions, proms and other events. Due to restructuring at The Retreat, our recent move brings us to an even larger venue, with room to seat over 300 at round tables and 500 theater style.
For most of this time, Cindy Burge, Catering Coordinator, has been listening to the needs of the clients, mapping out the details and scheduling the events. You will find Cindy willing to help plan the right menu for your event and budget.
